Roles and responsibilities

  • Set the long-term direction of Digital PR as part of agency strategy, making sure it reflects client needs and changes in media, search and AI visibility.
  • Decide which services to invest in ahead of the market, which to scale, and which to stop offering, using evidence of effectiveness, demand and commercial viability.
  • Own the commercial model for Digital PR, including pricing, scope discipline and profitability as a service line.
  • Lead the Head of Digital PR and the Associate Director, Digital PR, holding them accountable for performance while developing their leadership and commercial judgement.
  • Own succession for the discipline's senior roles, so the agency is not dependent on any one person to hold client relationships or the creative standard.
  • Own the agency's position on placement practices, supplier and freelancer use, and the reputational risks attached to them.
  • Work with the SEO, Organic Search and Data & Insights Directors so Digital PR strengthens the integrated offer and is measured on shared client objectives.
  • Make the difficult commercial calls on the discipline, such as restructuring, retiring services or changing pricing, and carry the team through them.
  • Take final responsibility for significant Digital PR delivery failures, and the changes that stop them recurring.
  • Represent the agency's Digital PR point of view externally and own its credibility with clients, journalists and the industry.
  • Keep the progression framework honest and consistently applied, in partnership with Noémie as framework owner.
