Senior Digital PR Executive

Trusted on the harder sells, and on reactives under time pressure. The choice between the management and specialist paths is made at the end of this level. Your expertise in digital PR is trusted on complex work, and you start passing it on to others.

EquivalentShared level, no parallel role. At the end of this level you choose between the management path (Digital PR Lead, L4) and the specialist path (Digital PR Strategist, L4)

How this role differs

You move from reliable delivery on familiar work to being trusted on complex, non-standard work, and to reviewing Executives' output before it reaches the account owner.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Shape an idea into something sellable, including the data or asset it needs.
  • Lead sell-in on harder campaigns and on time-critical reactives.
  • Call it early when an idea will not land, before resource goes into it.
  • Review outreach copy and targeting from Executives.
  • Build genuine relationships with journalists in the sectors you cover.
  • Independently handle difficult client situations, feedback and pushback professionally, addressing concerns and guiding conversations towards clear next steps.
  • Maintain client confidence and satisfaction through clear communication and expectation management as results develop.
  • Turn recurring fixes into documented process.
  • Support the onboarding of new Executives onto your accounts.
  • Explore both progression paths with your Lead ahead of your path choice.
