L3 · Shared path · Organic Search
Senior Organic Search Executive
Trusted to connect the two disciplines on an account. The choice between the management and specialist paths is made at the end of this level. Your expertise in integrated organic search is trusted on complex work, and you start passing it on to others.
How this role differs
You move from reliable delivery on familiar work to being trusted on complex, non-standard work, and to reviewing Executives' output before it reaches the account owner.
Roles and responsibilities
- Propose how SEO and Digital PR work is sequenced on an account, for the account owner to sign off.
- Shape campaign ideas around the pages and topics the account needs authority for.
- Decide what to prioritise across both workstreams within an account, rather than working through two separate lists.
- Diagnose why a brand is or is not cited in AI answers for priority queries, and recommend the on-site or off-site fix.
- Review Executives' work before it reaches the account owner.
- Independently handle difficult client situations, feedback and pushback professionally, addressing concerns and guiding conversations towards clear next steps.
- Maintain client confidence and satisfaction through clear communication and expectation management as results develop.
- Turn recurring fixes into documented process.
- Support the onboarding of new Executives onto your accounts.
- Explore both progression paths with your Lead ahead of your path choice.
