How this role differs

You move from reliable delivery on familiar work to being trusted on complex, non-standard work, and to reviewing Executives' output before it reaches the account owner.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Lead delivery on complex work: migrations, rendering issues, faceted navigation and international setups.
  • Run technical audits end to end, reaching root cause rather than symptom.
  • Decide what to prioritise within an account rather than working through a list.
  • Review Executives' work before it reaches the account owner.
  • Work directly with client developers to get fixes shipped.
  • Independently handle difficult client situations, feedback and pushback professionally, addressing concerns and guiding conversations towards clear next steps.
  • Maintain client confidence and satisfaction through clear communication and expectation management as results develop.
  • Turn recurring fixes into documented process.
  • Support the onboarding of new Executives onto your accounts.
  • Explore both progression paths with your Lead ahead of your path choice.
