How this role differs

This is the entry level of the framework. You are learning the craft and building the habits every later level depends on.

Roles and responsibilities

Find and gather relevant data from credible secondary sources online, recording sources and checking their relevance to the brief with guidance.
Gather data from approved tools and sources against a clear brief.
Build reports and visualisations using existing templates.
Check figures, calculations and formatting before sharing work for review.
Update dashboards and resolve straightforward issues with guidance, escalating more complex problems.
Record data sources, collection dates and any steps taken to prepare the data.
Flag missing data, inconsistencies or unclear instructions before proceeding.
Log your time accurately and keep project documentation up to date.
Join internal meetings and client calls where relevant, taking notes and following up on actions.
Act on feedback and agree your development goals with your Lead.
Contribute to team knowledge sharing and agency initiatives.
